Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Cherry Wood Smoked Barley

The 12th release in Woodford Reserve’s Master’s Collection, Cherry Wood Smoked Barley is a modern twist on a classic bourbon. Made using 70% corn mash and 30% barley mash, Woodford Reserve chose to use barley smoked with cherry wood during the kilning process. The nose carries a gentle smoke, with a sweetness and a spiciness to it. The palate showcases the large amount of barley used to make this bourbon with a delightful creamy body. The smoke from the barley is understated and subtle, adding a hint of red cherries to the flavour and enhancing the rich, sweet caramel notes.
