Still Austin Tanager Batch 2 (2025 Edition) is the second release in the distillery’s cigar blend series and builds directly on the success of the inaugural Batch 1. Like the first release, it uses a completely in-house Texas grain-to-glass approach—no finishing barrels—relying instead on blending technique to create depth. The standout feature is the use of the Petites Eaux method, where a portion of lower-proof whiskey is aged and then blended back into the final product, enhancing sweetness, texture, and complexity without diluting flavor. Batch 2 leans slightly more refined and balanced, delivering notes of cherry, citrus, caramel, chocolate, and baking spice with a long, smooth, cigar-friendly finish.
