Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof batch 2 is bottled at 135.4 proof and produced in a similar way to pre prohibition whiskey. This powerful whiskey has an aroma to match. It starts with a whiff of ethanol and then melts into the sweet smells of orange, fall spices, maple syrup and buttery vanilla. Batch 2 tastes full and buttery with flavor notes of oak, cherries, citrus, tobacco and maple. The finish moderately lingers warmly with a reminder of warm apple pie and tobacco.
