400 Conejos is a joven mezcal made from Espadin agave using traditional production methods, including roasting the agave hearts in earthen pits before distillation. The name references the Aztec legend of four hundred rabbits associated with drinking and celebration. Expect smoky, earthy agave flavor with citrus and mineral notes underneath. It works well sipped neat to appreciate the smoke, or in a mezcal-based cocktail for added depth.
