Clase Azul Durango Mezcal is made from wild-harvested Cenizo agave native to the rugged highlands of Durango, Mexico, distilled using a traditional ancestral method with clay pot stills and natural spring water. The region's mineral-rich soil and extreme climate give the agave a distinct character compared to mezcal from Oaxaca. Expect citrus and herbal aromas with notes of green olive, cooked agave, and clove, leading into peanut, brown sugar, and a long, subtly smoky finish. It's presented in Clase Azul's signature hand-painted ceramic decanter, crafted by Mexican artisans, making it as much a display piece as a spirit to savor slowly.
