1792 Cognac Cask

750mL

1792 Cognac Cask Finish takes the brand's Small Batch bourbon and gives it a secondary rest of at least six months in hand-selected ex-cognac casks, after primary aging in new charred American oak. It was introduced as 1792's first permanent cask-finished expression, using the same mashbill and distillation as the standard Small Batch. The cognac casks pull through notes of stone fruit, bananas foster, and creamy vanilla on top of 1792's usual bourbon character. Bottled at 95 proof, it's a good next step for a bourbon drinker curious about cask-finished whiskey.
