Old Commonwealth 10 Year is a modern revival of a historic bourbon brand originally created by Julian Van Winkle II in the 1970s. The 2024 release brings the name back with a high-proof, limited cask strength bourbon sourced from Kentucky. While it leans heavily on its Van Winkle-era heritage for appeal, the whiskey itself delivers a bold, modern profile with notes of dark chocolate, cherry, caramel, and heavy oak spice, finishing long and intense. This is a powerful, high-proof bourbon aimed at collectors and experienced drinkers.
