Fortaleza Winter Blend 2025 is one of the most hyped annual tequila releases from Tequila Fortaleza, often compared to the “Pappy of tequila.” Each year features a completely new experimental blend, and the 2025 edition continues that tradition with a reposado crafted from multiple cask finishes. Built off still-strength tequila and aged in a mix of specialty barrels, it delivers a layered profile of cooked agave, fruit, minerality, vanilla, and baking spice with a creamy, complex finish. Like all Fortaleza releases, it’s made using traditional methods (tahona crushing, open-air fermentation, copper pot stills), which is a big part of its cult following.
