Unlike the standard Maker’s Mark bottle sealed with red wax, this version features a distinctive gold wax seal, created for limited markets and special releases—many bottles were produced for export markets such as Japan during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The bourbon itself follows Maker’s Mark’s classic wheated mash bill, delivering smooth flavors of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and gentle baking spice.
