The second installment in The Macallan Concept Series, celebrating the combination of whisky-making and design and the pioneers who dared to disrupt conventions in favor of innovating, Concept Number 2 is a testament to art, music, and culture - passions of Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner. A limited edition offered in an estimated 100,000 bottles exclusively for travel retail - the Concept Number 2 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a harmonious and inspired powerhouse that brings rhythmic sweetness through sherry-seasoned American oak casks, before an energetic ensemble of flavors rounds out the profile, thanks to the use of Miguel Martin sherry casks and their inherent spiciness and the floral, citrus and vanilla notes instilled by ex-bourbon casks. Overall, Concept Number 2 is a formidable and daring piece of whisky-making that ensnares the ethos of music and art and presents a vivid nightlife snapshot through its fantastic, transportive flavor journey.
