Old Fitzgerald's 1849 takes its name from the year the W.L. Weller & Sons company was founded, and pays tribute to the soft, wheated-bourbon style long associated with the Old Fitzgerald name. Originally tied to the historic Stitzel-Weller distillery, the brand and recipe are now carried on by Heaven Hill. Expect the gentle, rounded sweetness typical of wheated bourbon, with notes of caramel, vanilla, and soft oak. It's a nod to old-school bourbon history, best enjoyed neat by fans of the classic Fitzgerald style.
