Joseph Magnus is a straight bourbon whiskey finished in a combination of Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and cognac casks, a technique the brand traces back to its namesake's original whiskey-blending methods from the 1890s. Jos. A. Magnus & Co. revived the family name in Washington, D.C. in 2015. The multi-cask finishing gives it a rich, dessert-like profile with orange citrus, dried dark fruit, and vanilla, bottled at 100 proof for extra weight.
