Herradura Reposado rests for close to a year in oak barrels, longer than many reposados, giving it more depth than the category's minimum aging typically allows. Herradura is one of the older tequila houses, distilling from its own Jalisco-grown agave. Expect cooked agave sweetness rounded out by vanilla, light spice, and a smooth, warming finish. It works well sipped neat or on the rocks, and holds its own in a well-made margarita or Paloma.
