Brugal Anejo is an aged rum from the Dominican Republic, produced by one of the country's oldest and best-known rum houses. It's aged in white oak barrels that previously held bourbon, giving the rum a rounded, slightly sweet character typical of aged Dominican-style rums. Expect notes of vanilla, caramel, and light oak with a smooth finish. It's enjoyable sipped neat or on the rocks, and mixes easily into a rum old fashioned or a simple rum and cola.
