El Enemigo Malbec is produced in Mendoza, Argentina, by Alejandro Vigil, head winemaker at Catena Zapata, in partnership with Adrianna Catena. The wine is sourced largely from the Uco Valley and includes a small portion of Cabernet Franc blended in alongside the Malbec, fermented partly in new oak. Expect aromas of violet and fresh plum with layers of dark fruit and a touch of licorice on the palate. It's a well-regarded bottle for Malbec fans and pairs naturally with grilled steak or other hearty, char-grilled dishes.
