Like its companion Oban bottling, this is actually whisky, not beer, it's Lagavulin 9 Year Old House Lannister, part of Diageo's officially licensed Game of Thrones Single Malts Collection released for the show's final season. Unlike classic sherry-matured Lagavulin, this edition was aged entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks for a brighter, golden-hued whisky befitting House Lannister's sigil. Expect smoky, sweet notes of caramelized banana, toasted marshmallow, and vanilla, finishing dry with menthol and salted caramel. It's a discontinued, highly collectible bottle for Islay whisky fans and Game of Thrones collectors alike.
